Challenges

Billie Eilish being a strong influence in the fashion world, I had to come up with something that would evoke a "Wow" effect and catch the viewer's attention when you'd see the physical piece in the world.

Finding the right special printing technique that would make the book feel special and evoke "Change" was quite challenging and was a lot of back and forth between printers. Fortunately enough, I found exactly what I was looking for with the help of "Atelier Photosynthèse", a specialty print supplier in Montréal. We decided to use a technique called "estampage fusion" which created a holographic look to the final piece.

Animating the App UI (After effects)

Along with the creation of a physical copy of the book I was in charge to create an animated prototype of what an e-book version of the book could look like. The nature of the screen medium allowed me to include sleek interactions and add video media to help immerse the user in the experience.
