Basketball Quebec is a non-profit organization that has been founded back in 1970 and is in charge of the sport of Basketball in the province of Quebec. They are in charge of organizing the events and important tournaments all around the province, Canada and internationally. They make sure to bring a safe and engaging environment to allow all teams that are part of the association to perform to their best.
The organization is looking for a re-design of their website that well reflects the professionalism and the excellence of the community that Basketball Quebec is all about. It needs to be welcoming and allow users to easily navigate on the site and find the information that they are looking for.

The flowchart of the original website was quite confusing and dense, and the whole user flow had to be redesigned to help the users find the info needed (Players, parents of players as well as coaches and refs).
Also, a lot of broken links and unnecessary repetition of the information was present on the original version of the website. Going through every page of the site to re-organize the hierarchy of the user flow was really important to bring the necessary changes to the website of the organization.

The website flowchart has been re-designed from the ground up as their original sitemap was really packed and a lot of information could be combined and some taken away completely from the site to remove any confusion users may encounter when browsing the information.
The original website of Basketball Quebec had many issues that needed to be addressed to help the users go through a hassle-free experience. The information on the site was quite dense and the layout of the different pages wasn't engaging enough to keep the user on the website for long. The background elements were quite distracting, and whitespace wasn't utilized to help with the visual hierarchy of the site.
Using the data found on their website, I created user personas for the different types of member that are part of the organization to ensure alignment with their needs in the design process.
